Notes and suggestions
- Prices are divided into "peak season/off-season": for example, the ticket price for the Potala Palace in peak season is higher than that in off-season.
- Does the attraction include the "sightseeing bus/eco-friendly bus" fee? Many attractions only include entrance fees, and transportation or sightseeing buses need to be paid separately.
- Preferential policies: Students, teachers, military personnel, and people over 60 years old may enjoy discounts.
- Areas at high altitudes and with more difficult transportation conditions (such as the Ali region and the area around Mount Everest) have higher costs and relatively fewer services.
- In actual travel, many attractions do not require "buy a ticket and enter": you may need to make an online reservation in advance, limit the number of people or visit time.
- Tickets are only part of the travel expenses; transportation, accommodation and preparation for altitude sickness should not be ignored either.
