Take a boat to visit Leshan Giant Buddha:
There are two boarding locations to choose from, namely Jiazhou Wharf and Wuyou Temple Wharf. The boarding wharf is the disembarkation wharf.
Not counting the waiting time, it takes about 40 minutes to see the Giant Buddha by boat. There is no need to climb the mountain, so the trip is relaxing.
You need to queue up to get on the ship. If you don’t want to queue up, you can buy an express pass, but the express pass is not available during the Spring Festival.
The Wuyou Temple Wharf is relatively less crowded. At the end of the National Day holiday, you can take a boat at the Wuyou Temple Wharf without queuing. You can leave as soon as you arrive, and there is no need to buy an express pass.
The daytime river cruise is from 8:00 to 17:00, and the night river cruise is from 19:00 to 21:00.
Note: You need to make an appointment in advance to see the Leshan Giant Buddha by boat. The ticket price is about 80 RMB.
