Recommended tourist routes in Mount Emei

1. Full hiking route

It is suitable for mountaineering enthusiasts with good physical strength. The whole journey takes about 13 hours. Scenic spots along the way include: Baoguo Temple - Fuhu Temple - Leiyin Temple - Chunyang Hall - Shenshui Pavilion - Guangfu Temple - Qingyin Pavilion - Hongchunping - Jiujiudaoguai - Xianfeng Temple - Xixiangchi - Leidongping - Cableway - Jinding

2. Half-traffic and half-hiking route

It is suitable for tourists who want to balance hiking and transportation. The whole journey is about 30 kilometers. You can take the Wannian Cableway to Wannian Temple first, and then start climbing. The specific route can be adjusted according to your physical condition.

3. Easy Tour Route

Suitable for tourists who want to take a relaxing tour. Take the scenic sightseeing bus from Baoguo Temple (or Wuxiangang or Wannian parking lot) to Leidongping, the whole journey takes about 2 hours, and then take the cable car or ropeway directly to Jinding. This route can be completed in one day, but be aware that the winding mountain road may cause motion sickness, so it is recommended to prepare motion sickness medicine in advance.

  2. Sightseeing bus (round trip): 90 yuan/person, one-way trip from Huangwan to Leidongping takes about 2 hours
  3. Round trip by cable car: 120 yuan/person (65 yuan/person for going up, 55 yuan/person for going down), about 3 minutes from Leidongping to Jinding
