As a spiritual paradise, Tibet is naturally a place many overseas friends dream of visiting. However, there are some restrictions and things to be aware of when entering Tibet for foreign visitors. Below, we will introduce in detail what special precautions need to be taken.

1. Foreign visitors need a Tibet Entry Permit to enter Tibet. This is handled by the travel agency you are traveling with. Generally, you should submit photos of your passport and Chinese visa to the travel agency about 30 days before departure, and they will then process the Tibet Entry Permit. Without a Tibet Entry Permit, foreign visitors are not allowed to enter Tibet.
2. Foreign visitors must travel to Tibet in a group, meaning they must find a travel agency qualified to receive foreign visitors to handle their travel arrangements, including itinerary planning, accommodation, drivers, tour guides, etc. In other words, foreign visitors cannot travel independently during their trip to Tibet and can only visit attractions accompanied by a tour guide.

3. There are no direct flights from abroad to Lhasa or Nyingchi at this altitude. Foreign visitors usually choose to fly to Chengdu for transit (it is more convenient for friends from Singapore and Malaysia to fly to Chengdu). Alternatively, there are flights from Lanzhou, Chongqing, or Xi'an to Lhasa. If you choose to travel to Tibet by train, you can choose to start your journey from Chengdu (36 hours), Chongqing (36 hours), Xining (24 hours), or Lanzhou (22 hours).
4. Tibet is mainly inhabited by Tibetans, who have their own unique language, dietary habits, and customs. Therefore, friends who travel to Tibet must respect and understand the different ethnic customs. Tibet is an inseparable part of China's territory, and friends who travel to Tibet must not engage in any behavior that undermines China's unity and national solidarity.
Friends from all over the world, we welcome you to Tibet anytime, to come and pursue this pure land for the soul.
