Flights from Hong Kong to Chengdu all depart from Terminal 1 of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. If you need to transfer to Terminal 2, you can walk (about 10 minutes) or take a shuttle bus, which runs every five minutes from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm. It's very convenient.
You can take the airport shuttle bus from Shuangliu Airport to the city center. The airport shuttle bus is very convenient, and there are three routes that pass through the city center:
1. Airport Shuttle Line 1, route: Shuangliu International Airport – City Center (Section 2, Renmin South Road). Main stops: Shuangliu International Airport to Section 2, Renmin South Road (Minshan Hotel): Shuangliu Airport, US Consulate (Nijiaqiao) on Section 4, Renmin South Road, Digital Plaza on the First Ring Road (Provincial Gymnasium), Huaxi Dam, Section 2, Renmin South Road (Minshan Hotel) in the city center; Waiting points: Gate 2 for T1, Gate 4 for T2; Operating hours: 6:30 am at Shuangliu International Airport, and the same time as the end of the flight schedule.
2. Airport Shuttle Line 2, route: Shuangliu International Airport – North Railway Station Bus Stop; Main stops: Shuangliu International Airport, Tianfu Square East Station, Renmin Middle Road Section 2 Station, Renmin North Road Section 1 Station, North Railway Station; Waiting points: Terminal 1, stop at Gate 2; Terminal 2, stop 50 meters ahead of Gate 4; Operating hours: 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM (round trip);
3. Airport Express Line 3, route: Shuangliu International Airport – East Railway Station (West Square); main stops: East of South Railway Station Road, Hongzhuanqiao, Jinxiu Avenue Chenglong Road Intersection (South Gate of Sichuan Normal University), East Railway Station (West Square); waiting points: Gate 1 of T1; Gate 5 of T2; operating hours: 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM (round trip).
You can also take Metro Line 10. Metro Line 10 Phase I is Chengdu Metro's first airport express line, starting at Taipingyuan Station and ending at Shuangliu International Airport Terminal 2 Station, with a total length of 10.9km. The entire line is underground, with 6 underground stations, listed from north to south as: Taipingyuan Station, Cujin Station, Huaxing Station, Jinhua Station, Shuangliu Airport Terminal 1 Station, and Shuangliu Airport Terminal 2 Station.
